Lady of Light
In Isaiah,Chapter 40:8, it says:
"The grass witherith, the flower fades, but the word of the Lord shall stand forever."
As we go into the fall season, we see the flowers fading, the leaves turning and falling off the trees. It is a time of change: God never changes and his word abideth forever. This is a comforting piece of information which under girds us in the Spirit while we experience the changes of the season. Today, I am going to share a poem about fall.
Bye and Bye
Summer sun has risen in the sky,
The trees are changing by and by,
Clothed in reds, oranges, golds and
Brown.
Before the winter, dancing down,
Floating on the ground.
Autumn, you are all around.
The beautiful, grateful, peaceful sound,
Of soft winds and leaves,
Falling to the ground.
There is colorful beauty all around.
Autumn, you sing the song of growth and change,
Of the seasons which only God can arrange.
Fit between the other seasons, Autumn,
You ring out the joy of summer's end,
And winter soon to begin,
What a wonderful season to be in -
AUTUMN!
