Your Time

Lady of Light

Do you wonder about your time? How you spend it? What it means?

In Ephesians 5:15 and 16 it says:

"My time is in thy hand. Deliver me from the hands of mine enemies and those who persecute me."

Like the passage says, our time is in God's hands. The fact that the writer speaks also about deliverance from enemies and those who persecute, it seems that it is somehow related to our time. I guess, if you have to spend alot of time worrying about your enemies and those who persecute you, you don't have the quality of time and energy to expend on other things but if God takes care of all this, it certainly means life will be better. I take this to mean if you need protection, to pray for it. If you are affected by negativity from others, release this to God and place
"your time in His hands."

Have a blessed day.

God First

Lady of Light

In The book of Daniel, Chapter 6:13, we find that all of the government plotted against Daniel to have the king sing a decree that noone should pray to God but only to the king. The men couldn't wait to report to the King that Daniel prayed in his house three times a day and not to the King. Daniel put God first no matter what and didn't succumb even to the decree. As the account continues, we know that because of this, Daniel was cast into the lion's den but miraculously protected by an angel.
If God can do this great miracle, how much more can he do for us when we put him first?
Sometimes people try to influence us negatively - to gossip, for example or to think in ways that aren't pleasing to God. If we continue to disregard these temptations and put God first, blessings will come.

Wishing God's best for you today!
